Steven Jones, owner of Cavalier Hair Clinic, knows how to make something out of nothing. Mr. Jones has been operating his own businesses for 40 years.

Jones has been in his current location at 704 West Homer M Adams Parkway, Godfrey, Illinois, for more than 30 years. In 1968, he graduated from college and started working for himself out of the barbershop in the Mineral Springs Mall.

Soon after, Jones was drafted into the Army. While in the Army he did hair on the side and did quite well. He ended up in the officer's club cutting hair. After returning from his military service, Jones went back to hair full time and opened Cavalier Hair Clinic.

Over the years, he has perfected his techniques and as a result, he has earned 48 trophies for his abilities with cutting and styling hair.

Jones has won awards in statewide competitions, including three awards in Illinois, two in Missouri, and one each in Indiana and Iowa.

Today, Jones focuses more on his work with hair loss than anything else. He specializes in hair transplants, grafts and prevention of hair loss. Using the technique on himself as well, Jones can demonstrate how he can apply an adhesive bond to the forehead. The piece itself is made of an extremely sheer material and one can comb the front hairline so it appears to be growing directly from the scalp.
